Species: Nymph

Appearance: Melody is very small in stature, standing only five foot one. She has bright blonde hair and peircing green blue eyes. She is beautiful, almost ethereally so, being a nymph and all. She wears different clothes with the changing of the times but always something delicate and pretty. She sort of has a nature loving, flower child thing going on.

Personality: Melody is a very bright woman, she's got a heart of gold and she's very sweet. She's also idealistic, which makes her a bit naive. She's seen a lot in her time and has become worn by it. She hates violence and war, but she will fight if she must.

Strengths: She's easy to get along with, she's very in tune with nature, she has a voice like an angel, she can manipulate the elements in a forest and use them to her advantage, good with a bow when she has to be
Weaknesses: She's an idealist, she's naive, she's not a melee fighter by any means, she'd rather talk than fight.

Personal History: Melody is an ancient nymph. In the early years, she, like all of her kind enjoyed singing hymns and bathing in brooks. She knows all the stories of the nymphs, of Echo and Narcissus, and of Calypso's tragic fate. She protects the forest from hunters and others that might hurt the beauty of nature.

She's seen more than she cares to get into but she doesn't talk about it, and times have changed now...so she's more of a free spirit. There are not too many nymphs around anymore. Melody's not even sure where the rest of them are. She knows though of the war at hand and she cannot just stand by and do nothing. She's an excellent archer, though she prefers much more to talk rather than to fight.

For years she's just been guarding the forests, sometimes people can catch a glimpse of her or hear her bubbly laughter, but it's not until very recently that Melody has appeared once again. She's no longer hiding in the forest, though she definitely would prefer to be there.
